Installation Instructions

Windows

  1. 1Download the .msi installer
  2. 2Double-click the downloaded file
  3. 3If Windows SmartScreen appears, click "More info" then "Run anyway"
  4. 4Follow the installation wizard
  5. 5Launch Verio from Start Menu

SmartScreen warnings appear because the app is new. Verio is safe to install — our code is open source and builds are automated via GitHub Actions.

macOS

  1. 1Download the .dmg file for your Mac
  2. 2Open the downloaded DMG
  3. 3Drag Verio to Applications folder
  4. 4Open Terminal and run: xattr -cr /Applications/Verio.app
  5. 5Launch Verio from Applications
  6. 6Follow the permissions wizard

Not sure which Mac you have? Click → About This Mac. If it says "Apple M1/M2/M3/M4" choose ARM, otherwise choose Intel.

The Terminal command is needed because the app is not yet notarized with Apple. This is a one-time step.
